Several of my friends have talked about their "blogs" and what a great connection it can be to distant friends. I decided to give it a try! Our daughter, Ella, will turn 2 in October and seriously becomes more fun every day. Each day I think, "What could she possibly do tomorrow to top this?" She always seems to come up with something. Yesterday it was paint her entire hands with white nail polish. She wasn't too thrilled with the removal process - she started gagging on me for special effect!!As much as I enjoy taking pictures of her, she has hit the stange where she doesn't want to smile or look at me. That would be the true stubborness of her parents coming out. My first album on the blog contains pictures of her from this morning. She wasn't too cooperative, but she was too interested in looking for bugs and frogs outside. She's not the truest girly girl when it comes to outdoor creatures!
Some of Ella's favorite things:
Time with grandparents, being with her cousins and aunts/uncles, playing outside in the water hose while mom waters flowers, cooking along side us in the kitchen, and definitely taking care of her baby dolls.
Least favorite:
Mom being back to work now since summer is over, going to bed, being told no more fruit snacks, and as of recently - trying to go to the potty!:)

- I am a proud wife and mom, who is also a former special education teacher (taking time off currently to stay home with our girls!). I teach at our Parents Day Out program at church 2 days a week. Other than that, I enjoy finding new things to do with the girls and enjoy watching them grow, change, discover new things, and have fun with one another. Ronnie and I have found so much joy in parenting and Ella and Kinsley. They bring so much laughter into our lives daily. I love taking pictures, enjoy reading, and most importantly, spending time with family. I strive to be a Godly wife and mother and work daily to be the type of wife and mother worthy of honor and respect. A good friend of mine once told me that instead of expecting your husband and children to honor and respect you, it is important to be the person that makes it easy for them to do so. I feel very blessed because I am fortunate to have great friendships across the country. We have lived several different places in our short 9 years of marriage and I have been blessed with quality friendships in each location.
